Everyday Makeup Look! Swatches and Mini-Reviews!

Hey guuuuurl!

I just filmed a new makeup tutorial today. It's pretty much my everyday makeup routine!
Thought I'd do a small review of everything I used so you guys can have a better idea on how each product works!

Here is the look! (not photoshoped)

Products I used:

So I've already done a review of this foundation here but overall, I think this foundation is OK

HOLY CRAP I love this concealer! I was very skeptical about this concealer but Its pretty damn awesome. I have the shade fair which is a couple of shades lighter than my skin tone and it has a pink undertone. The concept of the packaging is simple; you twist the top of the concealer, and the product comes into the sponge applicator. I'm not a huge fan of the packaging mainly because I feel that it gets dirty super fast and its not very hygienic. I do feel that bacteria can easily get stuck onto the sponge and unfortunately, the sponge is not removable, therefore you cannot wash it. This bad boy does a great job at concealing my nasty dark circles though!  It does however, look cakey if you use too much of it. :(

This is what I use to set my under eye concealer and my foundation. This stuff is amazeballs and I will continue to purchase it. Its super light and it doesn't give you a cakey finish. PLUS it doesn't give you flashbacks in photography which is awesome. I give this product 5 stars!

Okay so this blush is VERY pretty. Its a soft peachy-pink color and it has a subtle gold sheen. This actually reminds of NARS "Orgasm" except its a lot better lol!! I have never tried any of CLINIQUE's blushes but this is definitely a winner! The color is very pigmented and it blends nicely. You should keep in mind that a little bit does go a long way!

This is probably one of my favorite drugstore bronzers. It is probably the most expensive bronzer I've purchased from the drugstore as well! (around $15! Yikes!)
When I first swatched the bronzer, I thought that it had way too much sheen to it. I usually use bronzers to contour my face and I always stay away from anything that has a bit of shimmer. However, the sheen of the bronzer is barely noticeable on the skin which is a big plus. Also, I really like the shade of this bronzer. Its not too orange or too grey and I think it is the perfect color for my pale skin tone!

Okay guys, this is what you need to do: get off your butt, go to Walmart and BUY THIS EYESHADOW!!! I'm sure all of you have heard about wet n' wild eyeshadows and how amazing they are. Well, they weren't lying! This eyeshadow (particularly this shade) is extremely beautiful. The texture is super smooth and silky and it doesn't look chalky at all! It does have a bit of fall out but I don't care (considering this eyeshadow is only $3-$4!!)
The shade that I have is Nutty.  I have to say this eyeshadow is very interesting. When you put it on your lid, its as if you are wearing different shades of eyeshadow! Nutty has so much dimension to it and it looks absolutely beautiful on its own or used along with other eyeshadows. I use this baby everyday and it is so easy to work with (and a dream to blend!) I cant say enough good things about this eyeshadow. Seriously, go buy it NOW!

Seriously Inglot, why are you so rare in Canada? I remember 6-7 years ago, we had an Ignlot store in our local mall. Inglot back then wasn't well known at all and the store always looked empty. To be honest, the layout of the store never really pulled me in so I wasn't very interested in it. Shortly after they closed down the store and I never heard of Inglot again until about 3 years ago through YouTube. The brand came back with improved products and packaging and all people talked about was Inglot and how amazing it was! So when I went to Las Vegas and Dubai, I had to pick up Inglot (since Inglot doesn't exist in Toronto anymore!) I do have to admit, the formulations have completely changed! These eyeshadows are super pigmented and they are easy to blend! my favorite shades are the top two (the matte taupe and the shimmering champagne) unfortunately I don't remember the number of these eyeshadows and they are super hard to take out of the pallet!

The Maybelline New York Define-a-brow is a total dupe of Mac's retractable eyebrow pencils!!! Seriously, the packaging is pretty much the same (except the MNY one is green and Mac one is black). Obviously the MNY is MUCH cheaper than the mac retractable eyebrow pencils, sooooo yeah...just buy this one instead of the Mac one! So far I have tried the shades Dark Blonde and Medium Brown and I've liked them both! The tip of the pencil is very fine so its easy to create precise lines and the formula is pretty much the same as Mac and they are both long lasting on me!

This is a sample that I got along with my CLINIQUE blush. First of all, how freaking cute is this mascara? Its super tiny and travel friendly which I love.

Okay first, the Highly Impact Mascara (the wand on the left) is for top and bottom lashes. I find this mascara very volumizing and it does a pretty good job at separating my lashes (surprisingly). It is super black and with two coats, my lashes look shmexy! This mascara, however, isnt long lasting at all. The other day I had to walk in the rain for 5 minutes (and it wasnt even pouring) and I already had panda eyes because of this mascara! Peh!

The Bottom Lash Mascara confuses me. The wand is super small which means its supposed to get the smallest lashes. Fortunately, I have pretty decent lashes which means I don't need a separate mascara for my bottom ones. The wand itself is pretty short which makes the application somewhat hard. I personally don't think that people need to go out and buy a separate mascara for their bottom lashes and I would not purchase the full size of this one. It does however, elongate my bottom lashes (which some people may love) but I personally don't care for since I think it looks a bit freaky lol.

So I purchased this product while I was in Japan last summer from a drugstore (cant remember the name of the store) and I fell in love with it! Tinted eyebrow gels are very popular in Japan since most of the girls I saw there had light brown to blonde hair. Tinted eyebrow gels are an easy way to add color to your brows without bleaching them! Anastasia (sold in Sephora) also has eyebrow gels similar to this, but they are very expensive and they don't have the shade I want (a taupe blonde). Overall, I really like this product!

Oh...my...GLOB! I FREAKIN LOVE THIS THING!!!!! Okay I need stop freaking out, but seriously, this product is amazeballs!
I got a set of 2 of these amazing lip balms from Sephora (as a birthday gift). they come in cute sample sizes but they do last fairly a long time. I have the shade in Rose and the clear one. I usually use Rose for my everyday lip color and I use the clear one as a nigh time lip treatment. This stuff stays on your lips all day and it really does help dry cracked lips! Its non greasy and it feels like silk! I love this product so much that I might buy a full size once I run out of these. The full size ones are ridiculously expensive though ($28!!!!) Do you guys think its too much for just a lip balm? let me know!
